During F-35 production, Partech was selected during a global tender process, to find the best organisation to develop the Test Program Sets for the Northrop Grumman Communication Navigation Identification (CNI) capability using the LM-STAR.

Partech in partnership with Leonardo (formerly trading as Selex ES Australia) is developing a Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) – Avionics Centre of Excellence (ACE) for important ADF platforms across air, sea and land with the acquisition of an LM-STAR. The LM-STAR® provides a standard automated test environment for troubleshooting and repairing mission systems and will provide our customers quicker turnaround times. The combination of the LM STAR® with Partech’s internationally recognised capabilities in the development of Test Program Set (TPS) for aerospace and electronic products provides a unique in-country repair capability for avionics systems on rotary and fixed wing aircraft in Australia and within the Asia/Pacific region.
Importantly, Partech is part of a world-class aerospace and avionics manufacturer in the Leonardo Company. Leonardo provides avionics to many aircraft types for military companies in over 50 countries. On the F-35, Leonardo already manufactures ten components of the aircraft including key elements such as the Electro-Optical Targeting System (EOTS), ejection seat firing mechanism, cockpit panels and controls, landing aids down converter and the backup radio. For many of these items, Leonardo is the single source OEM.
